da bet esporte: Chilwell made his full comeback from injury with a superb display, while Sterling was at his creative best to run Boro ragged
da esport bet: Chelsea thrashed Championship Middlesbrough 6-1 to book their place in the Carabao Cup final on Tuesday night. The Blues opened the scoring in scruffy fashion, as a Raheem Sterling cut-back appeared set to be tucked home by Armando Broja, but Jonny Howson, in an attempt to make a tackle, instead directed the ball into the back of his own net.
Enzo Fernandez then added a second before the half-hour mark, making a late burst into the box to finish a cross from Axel Disasi and give the Blues the lead in the tie.
Disasi then added a third, getting on the end of a clever Sterling cut-back and finishing coolly, and Palmer made it 4-0 before half-time, as he took advantage of some dire defending and finished.
A fifth came through Palmer again, as he got on the end of Gallagher's clever cut-back to finish, and Noni Madueke, on as a substitute, scored the sixth after dropping a shoulder and cutting into the Middlesbrough box.
The visitors did add a consolation in the 87th minute, as Morgan Rogers curled a great effort into the bottom corner from range.
GOAL rates Chelsea's players from Stamford Bridge…
GettyGoalkeeper & Defence
Djordje Petrovic (6/10):
Made a good save early on with the scores at 0-0 but was barely troubled before Rogers scored a superb goal from range late on.
Axel Disasi (7/10):
Put the cross into the box for Fernandez's goal and scored the third with a cool finish after a sprint into the box. An energetic presence throughout.
Thiago Silva (7/10):
So composed all the time. Played some lovely passes from centre-back and often stepped into midfield.
Levi Colwill (6/10):
A quiet evening, and was barely stretched.
Ben Chilwell (8/10):
Making his return from injury with his first start since September. Headed just wide after a superb run from left-back and played an eye-of-the-needle pass for Sterling in the build-up to the first goal. A constant threat down the left before his substitution.

Moises Caicedo (6/10):
Usually has to do plenty of defensive work but there really wasn't much to be conducted, given Boro's timidity. Tidy in possession. Subbed with 20 minutes left.
Enzo Fernandez (7/10):
Made a superb late charge into the box to score Chelsea's second goal and is always looking for a killer pass, even if it doesn't always come off.
Mykhailo Mudryk (5/10):
Booked for dissent. Barely had an impact on the game, which was bizarre given the Blues' dominance. Subbed at half-time for Madueke.

Cole Palmer (8/10):
Scored Chelsea's fourth with a superbly calm finish, having robbed Daniel Barlaser in the build-up. Some silky touches and clever runs and then added his second late on, driving home Gallagher's cut-back. Such an intelligent player.
Armando Broja (6/10):
Looked set to put the ball away to equalise but Howson made a challenge and diverted the ball in himself. A couple of air-shots, but a threat, given his physicality. Subbed on the hour.
Raheem Sterling (9/10):
Unselfishly squared for Broja to score the opener, although the ball actually went in off Howson. Brilliant backheel in the build-up to Fernandez's goal and also crossed for Disasi's goal. A creative masterclass.

Noni Madueke (7/10):
On for Mudryk at half-time but appeared to injure his shoulder, leading to concerned glances on the bench, although he picked himself up and carried on. Scored in the 80th minute, cutting in off the right and finishing via a deflection.
Alfie Gilchrist (5/10):
On for Chilwell. Barely had anything to do until Rogers sprinted beyond him and scored.
Conor Gallagher (7/10):
On for Broja. Brilliant assist for Palmer's second and Chelsea's fifth, as he burst down the left and cut the ball back.
Carney Chukwuemeka (N/A):
Replaced Caicedo late on.
Leo Castledine (N/A):
Made his Chelsea debut with five minutes remaining, replacing Sterling.
Mauricio Pochettino (8/10)
Was forced to name a strong side due to last week's defeat but got it spot on, as Chelsea won this at an absolute canter. A final awaits.
